Our Meszes vineyard is located near to Erdőbénye, with a south-east exposure and a soil rich in volcanic stones. Harvested and selected by hand, the wine was fermented in barrels and aged in new 500-liter barrels.
In the nose Meszes Furmint shows powerful minerality, introducing an intense and characterful wine. White-fleshed fruits, fresh peaches and even cantaloupe emphasize the fruitiness of this wine, in great contrast with its salty, mineral notes. A crystal clear Furmint with a straight, precise structure and surprising length. The barrel aging only makes it even richer. Powerful, masculine character with remarkable texture.
