Terroir Selection Szarvas Furmint 2023

Szarvas is an exceptional, sunny vineyard on the southernmost slope of the Tokaj mountain, with black dacite soil covered by loess. After hand-harvesting and selection the wine was fermented in barrels, then aged in new 500-liter oak barrels.
A bouquet of aromas line up full of flowers and flower honey, citrus fruits, apple and exotic fruits, while the vanilla notes of barrel aging makes the wine even kinder. The terroir and the grape variety is expressed by great intensity, tight acidity and a silky texture. In addition to the fruitiness that lingers on, honey and fine propolis return, while the minerality remains in the background.
